Dubai, UAE | June 24–25, 2025 — Delphisonic proudly participated in the 19th edition of Middle East Rail, the largest and most prestigious railway and mobility exhibition in the MENASA region. Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event brought together global railway leaders, infrastructure developers, technology innovators, and government stakeholders for two days of strategic dialogue, innovation showcases, and partnership-building.

As a company at the forefront of AI-based predictive maintenance and intelligent condition monitoring, Delphisonic introduced its DS-xR and DS-Track platforms, which are engineered to serve rolling stock, infrastructure, and heavy industrial assets with high-resolution vibration analysis, real-time anomaly detection, and autonomous data transmission.

Why Middle East Rail Matters

The Middle East Rail 2025 exhibition, co-hosted with Mobility Live Middle East, is regarded as the definitive annual gathering of the railway sector across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), North Africa, and South Asia. As governments across the region pursue national rail strategies and multimodal transport masterplans, the event serves as a unique forum to:

  • Exchange best practices on digitalization and asset management,
  • Introduce emerging technologies such as edge computing and AI in mobility,
  • Align public and private sector priorities for sustainable transport development.

This year’s program included over 250 speakers across multiple tracks, covering smart mobility, digital railways, infrastructure resilience, and railway cybersecurity — all highly relevant to Delphisonic’sproduct roadmap and R&D efforts.

Delphisonic’s Innovations on Display

Throughout the two-day event, Delphisonic’s booth drew attention from metro operators, rolling stock OEMs, track maintenance contractors, and digital integrators interested in:

Embedded AI-Based Predictive Maintenance

Delphisonic’s proprietary edge-processing algorithms (Hilbert transform, envelope analysis, FFT) run directly on the sensor hardware, allowing for real-time fault detection on axleboxes, traction motors, bogies, and gearboxes without the need for cloud-based heavy computation.

 Ultra-Rugged, Energy-Efficient Design

Built to endure extreme conditions, the sensors are tested to withstand up to 1000 gE vibrationIP67/IP69K sealing, and -40°C to +120°C temperature ranges, with built-in energy harvesting capabilities for autonomous operations on unpowered freight wagons.

 Scalable Communication Options

With support for LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, CAN-FD, Single Pair Ethernet, and satellite (Globalstar-ready) connectivity, Delphisonic’s solution is adaptable to both legacy infrastructure and next-generation rail systems.

Engaging with Regional Stakeholders

At the exhibition, the Delphisonic team engaged in productive technical and commercial dialogues with key decision-makers and project leads from the UAE and wider region. While specific project names remain confidential, discussions centered on:

  • Smart monitoring of Dubai Metro bogies and HVAC systems
  • Real-time axlebox fault detection for freight wagons in harsh desert environments
  • AI-based infrastructure diagnostics for metro, tram, and high-speed lines

In addition, our meetings with engineering firms and industrial integrators based in the UAE highlighted new opportunities in port equipment, crushers, AZIPOD propulsion systems, and energy sector applications, where vibration anomalies remain a major challenge.

What’s Next?

Delphisonic’s participation in Middle East Rail 2025 marks a strategic expansion into the Gulf region, where smart transport infrastructure is rapidly evolving. As a follow-up to the event:

  • Several pilot projects and NDAs have been initiated with UAE-based partners.
  • Product integration discussions are ongoing for bearing-embedded sensors in collaboration with regional bearing manufacturers.
  • The company is exploring local assembly and support service options to better serve Gulf clients.

Final Thoughts

Middle East Rail 2025 provided an excellent platform for Delphisonic to connect with forward-thinking stakeholders who are actively shaping the future of mobility. We are grateful to the organizers, partners, and visitors who contributed to the event’s success.

As we continue to expand our footprint in the MENASA region, we remain committed to delivering reliable, scalable, and intelligent maintenance solutions that reduce downtime, prevent catastrophic failures, and improve operational efficiency across transport sectors.

Optimizing Asset Reliability with Industrial IoT Predictive Maintenance

Heavy industries face continuous pressure to reduce unscheduled downtime and maximize component lifecycles. Traditional calendar-based maintenance schedules often force facilities to replace functional parts prematurely or miss rapid, unexpected mechanical degradation. By implementing industrial IoT predictive maintenance, operators transition from reactive firefighting to condition-based interventions. This approach identifies sub-surface faults before they manifest as operational failures, stabilizing production and reducing

Predictive Maintenance for Railways: How Edge AI Sensors and Condition Monitoring Are Redefining Fleet Reliability

Railway operators face a hard operational reality: unplanned drivetrain failures, whether in traction gearboxes, wheelset bearings, or suspension linkages like the reaction rod, cause service disruptions that cost tens of thousands of dollars per hour in delays, recovery operations, and emergency maintenance. Scheduled preventive maintenance, by design, replaces components based on time intervals rather than actual wear state, which means
